NEW YORK, New York - December 19, 2016 - After four months of research and development, Scandent has released three new RFID tag designs for dentures. The three new tag designs were custom developed for
full upper dentures, full lower dentures, and metallic partial dentures. The new tags are more robust and durable than the previous denture tags, and have about a 50% larger detection radius
than the previous version. They are also less likely to be broken or damaged during the tagging process, and are less susceptible to wear and tear and corrosion. With the release of
the new denture tags, Scandent's R&D team has shifted its focus toward the completion of Scandent's new hearing aid tag, which is expected to be released in early February, 2017.
The new hearing aid tags will be in the form of soft, transparent or skin-colored silicone ear hooks that will sit comfortably behind the wearer's ear.
