Since Scandent is a web-based application, it can be accessed at any time from any computer or mobile device that has an internet connection. This means your desktop at work, laptop at home, and your iPhone and Blackberry.

Item detection alerts

Admins can add or remove users and set who receives found item alerts, how often they are sent, and how they are sent (email, text, call). Users can manage residents and items, and control the handheld reader from the web-based interface.

Keeping track

Scandent keeps track of each time found, where it was found, and who retrieved it. This allows you to keep your staff accountable for retrieving and returning items to the residents. Further, it gives you insight into where items are most commonly lost, and which residents lose items most frequently.
